EMBER GOODS

For today's drip, we stopped by Ember Goods in downtown Olympia. This coffee shop is in a quieter part of downtown and features a boutique on one side of the shop. We shopped around for a little bit before getting our drinks and found so many cute finds!

Latte

We chose to get this latte with oat milk today and weren't disappointed. This latte was a crowd favorite (among two people lol) and wasn't too sweet, giving it a 3 on the sweetness scale. In addition to it not being too sweet, it had the perfect balance of flavors. This is the first latte where the vanilla wasn't hidden or too sweet and it really made for a great latte in our opinion. Because of these reasons, we gave this latte a 5.

Golden Milk

For our specialty drink, we wanted to try something you wouldn't find in many (if any) places. Golden milk is a latte style drink with hemp milk, turmeric (hence the golden), cinnamon, ginger and black pepper. This drink was unique to say the least, and was definitely different than other drinks we've sipped. We gave it a 5 on the creativity scale because it was just that, CREATIVE. However, this drink wasn't necessarily our favorite drink. Grace didn't think the hemp milk was her fave and both of us came to the consensus we probably wouldn't reorder. Don't get us wrong, it's not a bad drink, execution was there, just wasn't our favorite.

We loved stopping in at Ember Goods. The customer service from the barista was amazing and she was so patient and attentive. Because of this, we gave customer service a 5. We only waited about 5 minutes and they weren't very busy so there wasn't a line at all. The aesthetic of this place is unmatched. If you're looking for a place with a really cool aesthetic, you'd love it here. There are plants all over and there's such an attention to detail, even the cups are aesthetically pleasing! They did an amazing job at showcasing local art and ethically made items. The atmosphere was a 5 as well. The environment was very inviting and laid out perfectly. It wasn't too stuffy or fragrant here and that added to a really fresh feeling.

As you can probably tell, we will definitely be coming back to Ember Goods. The vibes here are so good and we feel great supporting a small local business. We gave this place a 10 because the aesthetic of this place raises the bar and the quality of their drinks was very high. We love how they support other small business alike and have made this place feel very home-y. If you happen to be in downtown Oly, stop in Ember Goods, you won't be disappointed!
